La Boissiere, Gites in the heart of The Dordogne
La Boissiere was once a fortified medieval village but is now a tranquil hamlet perched high up on a hillside in the Valley of the Chateaux overlooking the Dordogne River. This quiet rural setting is home to our three charming, period, self-catering Gites.
The cottages are completely independent and have their own private gardens. All are close to our fenced and alarmed 16m x 6m swimming pool that has an additional shallow pool for children. (Opens early May and closes at the end of September)
Each Gite is within easy reach of many of the historic Bastide towns of The Dordogne and Perigord region (such as Monpazier, Domme and Belves) local shops, restaurants and a myriad of activities. The Gites at Maisons La Boissiere are within 50 minutes drive of Bergerac and Brive Airports, an easy drive from Bordeaux and Toulouse and 8 hours drive from Calais.
